Job Details & Compensation

This position provides non-medical, in-home care to clients in Phoenix, AZ. CAREgivers assist with daily living activities, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ (in clients’ homes)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible

Pay: Starting at $16 per hour plus overtime eligibility

Bonus: $900 new-hire bonus after 200 hours worked

Experience: No experience required. Training provided.

CAREgiver Responsibilities

Every client has unique needs, but some tasks you’ll likely see as a CAREgiver include:

  • Helping clients with the activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance, toileting assistance).

  • Talking with clients and offering them companionship while on shift.

  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for clients.

  • Providing transfer assistance by moving clients in and out of the bed, bath, wheelchair, or car.

  • Creating and maintaining a pleasant environment.

  • Helping with sanitation and housekeeping tasks of the client’s room, bathroom, and common areas.

  • Performing general household tasks, including laundry and errands.

CAREgiver Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, stand, walk, and negotiate stairs, and operate basic household tools

  • No prior healthcare or caregiving experience required

  • Able to complete Direct Care Worker training

  • Able to complete CPR & First Aid certification

  • TB test (required by Arizona regulations)

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Reliable transportation preferred

What will my wages be? 

Hourly rate for caregivers ranges from $16 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime opportunities available.


Are there bonus opportunities? 

Yes! Once you’re hired, you’ll be eligible to receive a $900 bonus after your first 200 hours worked within the first 6 months. We also offer referral bonus opportunities to eligible employees after employment requirements are met.


Where do we provide the care?

Caregivers will provide care directly in the client’s home located in Phoenix, Arizona.

We match our caregivers with a client based on their location and availability.


What hours do you have available?

We'll work with you to find a schedule that best fits your availability. Some caregivers are matched with a single client to provide care multiple days a week, while others provide care to multiple clients throughout the week.


What do All Valley’s CAREGIVERS do?

Our caregivers assist our clients with non-medical activities of daily living such as bathing and grooming, dressing, mobility, light housekeeping, companionship, and much more!


Will I have the opportunity to choose my clients? 

All Valley conducts personal introductions between the caregiver and client before the first shift to ensure that both parties are comfortable and understand the care plan. We are committed to making sure it’s a good match!


What are the requirements for the position?

All Valley requires completion of Direct Care Worker Training (Level I & II), up-to-date CPR and First Aid training, and proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test result.
